Transcript

This video walks first-time buyers through opening an account and making a first purchase.

Start by confirming the exchange is registered with Japan's FSA as a crypto-asset exchange provider. The register is published on the FSA site.

Next, where you buy. The brokerage quotes you a price — simple, but the bid-ask gap is your real cost. The order book matches you against other users and supports limit orders.

On storage: while amounts are small, leaving assets on the exchange is workable. As they grow, consider moving some to a wallet you control.
